Notes for Finance 488--the capstone class for
Finance at James Madison University
I have included some of my review that I used in my Finance 305 (Intermediate Corporate Finance) class that I taught at Penn State University. The chapters correspond to Brealey and Myers' Principles of Corporate Finance. I think you will find it very helpful. It is not in the format I want it to be but it will soon be better. Patience is a virtue. PowerPoint notes of the first class (basically just a sign up class) Topic Areas
For a historical perspective of the stock market crash of 1929 the Retire Canada page is pretty good. You will have to go to the inside section (I can't link to it) and then click on stock market crash). A page off of that page is also good. It has a series of newspaper headlines surrounding the crash. Just as a sales pitch for coming to class. Note this company's
seminars.
We will be hitting most of these topics in Much more detail and they are
charging nearly $400 per day!
