Who is Peter Lynch? Peter
Lynch is widely acknowledged as one of the
great investors of the
twentieth century. He ran the hugely successful
Fidelity Magellan fund
and was the key to much of its success. He was
famous for picking small
stocks and holding them for long periods of time.
His track record is admirable:
beating the SP 500 by a large amount even
when managing the World’s
largest Mutual Fund. When he retired he picked
up his pen (or more likely
keyboard) and authored two books as well as
regular columns for Worth
Magazine.
